Dunno, depends how the bike ride I reckon.
And how much weight you've lost too, make a dramatic difference in how the bike feel too.
Ive always been skinny so i wouldent know but i can imagine it has a great effect and feeling if you shed some weight and keep the same or even improve your stamina / power. But yeah i dident mean heavier bikes cant ride great and even feel nimble. Just 10kgs is alot (to me).

3.85kg with everything on them. Wonder how much the 1050 11-32 weighs?
299 according to google. So 2.56 w/o casette which puts the wheels at sub 2 comfortably.
My disc converted ti bike with a wound up that used heavy disc adapter and had phil wood bb on sugino 75s and not a lot of light parts in general weighed more than abit less.
Something stinks in suberbia!

Sure the bung may not be your only issue but it was an obvious one.
So now you can skrew the top cap bolt and tighten the assembly without the bung pulling out of the steerer? What makes you think its the stem? I find listening to where the sounds are coming from can be quite counterproductive when it comes to bikes. I often get fooled.
Do you have any play in the fork/headset? A good way to test is to turn your wheel 90 degrees to either side and put your fingers on the bottom headset cup / fork junction. Push the bike abit forwards and backwards and you will feel if theres play in it or not.

Its not the bolt length thats the problem.
Sounds like you have a poor expander or are doing something weird .)
Your lbs should have a good one on the shelf or just order on the web.Edit: if you overtorque on purpose like above suggestion, have a stem mounted on the area where your bung will be applying the pressure.

Is it a regular expander or some conversion thingy ? It is suppose to be flush. What probably happend is you pulled it up abit when you tightened the headset. So instead of pulling it together you are pulling the expander out of the steerer tube.
You need to reset the expander and tighten properly then reinstall (if thats what it is)

Im always impressed with ppl who build there on bikes. Yours is no exception, looks very nice! Think its good i dont have the know how cause its all id ever do. Id love to try it one day!
Llewellyn makes some sick bikes!
Black always looks good and should be a good choice for that slender look you wanted.

Hello.
I'm saving up for a geared Condor... possibly the Squadra and i'm rather clueless in regards to the benefits of particular groupsets. All I hear is cock rubbing, Super Record / Dura Ace chatter, but are they really worth the disparity in price between Ultegra / Centaur Carbon for instance? Also, is SRAM Red highly regarded?I'd be interested in knowing your preferences and fyi I commute most days and enjoy longer rides at the weekend, but am in no way a competitive cyclist - just want value for money, a nice gearie™ and good kit.
Advice and opinions greatly appreciated. Cheers
Condor Options (with Squadra frame):
Shimano**
Tiagra** £1200
105 £1400
Ultegra £1650
Dura Ace £2650Campagnolo**
Veloce** £1350
Centaur Alloy £1450
Centaur Carbon £1750
**Chorus **£2150
Record £2550
Super Record £2900SRAM**
Rival** £1400
Red £2650Campy record 10 UT is a great group. I prefer it to a later super record 11 i also have. The only thing better with SR is the shape of the hoods and thats going to depend alot on how big hands you have and specific preferences.
Buy it used (hardly any left nos anyways) and you will have the best performance for the value imo.

I really like it!
How does it compare to your rsl? :)
