Did a search and didn't seem to find it, so I thought I would throw this up here:

Definitely worth watching for a laugh.

would anyone recommend buying a langster steel 2012, looking for a first fixie an was wanting to know if they're actually any good, wanted to build one but need it now really. other possibilities im looking at are fuji track or charge plug. any thoughts/knowledge appreciated, cheers
Fuji Track. It's black, cheap and cheerful. The Langster in it's current form is 'meh' and the Plug is heavy (although to be fair, I don't know how heavy the Fuji is). I think it's probably less 'wantable/stealable' than a plug (but still looks good.
You should try the second hand classifieds on here though. Way better bang for your buck.

Went down to the store and as they didn't have any Creme in stock, they sold me the colour of my choice for the price of the creme (110 pounds). Couldn't really decide between the red and the grey, but ended up going with the safe option (grey).
Staff were very helpful. I thought I had the right size on (6'4", 15 stone, XL) but apparently it was too big for me ('When you lean over, you have all this fabric hanging. See? That will really annoy you in the breeze you generate. Especially downhill') so they sold me the Large. Bit concerned as it only just reaches the top of my trousers (and that's when my trousers/jeans are sitting properly, not on my hips) so does look slightly odd off the bike.
But then, I guess that isn't what it is designed for. Will report back once I've worn in in the wet.

Your search - langster 2013 - did not match any documents.
Huh? Not sure what you mean here.
The link still works for me.I searched for 2013 Langster frame set and those results came up. They might call it the 2013 frame set in the UK but it is obviously the same as the 2011 one and completely different from the 2012 one they have in the states.

So some guy is trying to actually build his bike from scratch, which is what everyone on this forum would suggest rather than buy off the peg, and your chastising him for his efforts?
Sure he could be a little more proactive by reading up first and then asking more sensible questions, but you don't have to verbally lambast him. For all you know he could be 14 and have a 250 pound budget,
or,
heaven forbid, even have a mental deficiency (not to mention that you just insulted anyone who reads the thread that does have a mental deficiency). You mentioned a freewheel in your ad and munchh asked about it. Regulars 'dibs' here without reading through the ad first, and then find that the frame/wheel/cranks/headset/seatpost isn't suitable because it is the wrong size. I don't see you, or anyone, attacking those guys for being so obtuse; cut the guy some slack
Way to grow the community.** I see two people in this thread that are socially challenged and munchh isn't one of them.**
BTW, munchh. Make a bit more effort in your responses and don't be so needy with the questions. There are a lot of people that come on here looking for advice on things (I was one of them) and realistically you can find the advice if you search for it.

Ok, before I get laughed out of the forum and told to go and stick this in the Brompton Outed forum a big F$%k you to you too!
:-)
Despite this being primarily for thread being primarily for self builds and such, I have to say I'm rather pleased by my purchase that finally arrived from Brompton care of Simpson Cycles last weekend. I have a host of primarily aesthetic/functional improvements that I wish make to the bike and I've decided to document it so I can get some other peoples opinions (tomato hurlers can leave them at the door please...) and such before I put down the cash for each purchase.
My first forays on the bike were cut short thanks to a large amount of gloating, watching cars rather than the road surface, 16" wheels and a rather large pothole. With that fixed, I spent most of the day today floating around on the bike.
