Surely the seller's photo resolves nothing unless he can prove it was taken about a minute before the frame was sold. Otherwise the crack could have developed in between the photo being taken and the frame being sold...

Well I thought that was loads of fun. Well signed, although you didn't need them cos there were so many cyclists to follow. Such a great sight to see thousands of cyclists, of all shapes and sizes, riding all over London. Cars/buses/taxis/pedestrians were considerate too. :)

I will be doing the 56 mile route from Chelsea. Seems like a cool way to get to know some of the parts of London I'd never usually go to, and I especially want to support Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research for personal reasons. Hopefully the route and signposting have improved from previous years if they weren't great previously.

You might get Salmon guards in there, but Chromplastic ones tend to stand off too far from the bridges to have any chance of getting through that gap, which looks to be well under 10mm anyway.

Drat. I know it looks less than 10mm in the last photo but I think that might just be the angle, it looked like 10 in real life.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but none of those Salmon ones seem to actually cover the brakes, so they are just more expensive but prettier versions of SKS Race Blade Longs?

How much clearance do you need for proper mudguards? Chromoplastics or suchlike, the narrowest version. Would I be able to fit them in, when I've only got about 10mm front and back?

Also the difference in riding position between mtb and road could mean a saddle could suit one but not the other. In general I think most of the aesthetic stuff tends to have a basis in function. Altho obviously mismatched colours and stuff like that won't make you go slower.

Also, if the saddle is actually comfortable, there's no need to change it just because some bike nerds on the internet don't think it's pretty enough :)
