I'm after a geared bike. Was going to go vintage steel but it's hard to justify paying these kind of prices when you can get something nearly new with 105 equivent for the same dough.

An old pink and white Barry Hoban road bike locked vertically next to a gate at the side of the Horse and Jockey.
Looks like it's been in a crash. Rear wheel badly buckled, front missing. A nice old frame and my size too. I'm looking for something like this to build up. Anyone know who's this might be?
If it's abandoned would be nice to get hold of it legitimately before it gets raped for it's groupset etc.
