If people want cable disc these are by far superior:
http://www.gussetbikes.com/products-information.php?id=BDGUCDFAnd with post mount discs it takes 20 seconds to align and set them up.
Still not sold on v brakes might as well run a magura if fbo

Rincewind I can only apologise on perros behalf being a UK seller.
As far as I am aware they are the same poles just white. I am pretty hard on poles and have not had a similar experience with a white perro nor have I heard of anyone else. Have you tried using the other two you spoke of?? All I can say is email perro directly and ask his advice.
If he is willing to replace it we can have it sent with our next order. Postage UK side would however have to be covered.
Also white perros are regular poles and silver perro lites.

Can you cut mine to 120mm please? I bought two this morning (bogey cambridge)
Good job checked forum was gonna try and get it in the 5pm post. If I can get hold of the mitre saw then yes as Colin has all the heavy diy kit(and is currently touring Europe for charity). So if your ok waiting a few days then should be able to do it for you.

Thanks jono. I myself prefer 120 but col likes 130 and after much debate thought bigger was better as it could then be cut to.prefered size. Something we can do before shipping if people email us.
There are a few up your way emm. unfortunately ours is top secret. But very much British way should be :)

Its here at last!!!!!!!!!
The UK asked for it so Throwin are proud to bring it to you for the first time on UK shore! UHMW is here for good!
Hailing from the from the darkest Midlands of Great Britain like the 'God father of metal' himself! We bring you the most metal head in bike polo.
This very high quality 5" head is made in the U.K from a single piece of PE-UHMW which resists wear much better than standard HDPE heads. It has one open and capped end and is the first and only UHMW head of it's kind in the UK.

Also keep watching our Facebook page for updates on our first for the UK bespoke product.

why is picking cranks such a massive ball ache?? I just want something that fits my bike (135mm rear spacing, 68mm bb shell), isn't too heavy and preferably isn't too expensive.
What length?? Bb type??
Onza do a square taper 165mm with 24 ring and bash guard for about 40 quid.
Failing that look mtb raceface do cranks in every length and can usually get cheap 2nd hand ones on somewhere like single track world forum for not a lot of money.

Yep, content unavailable...
By the way, who gave me a tube when I had a puncture? I keep meaning to ask and well finally i have!)
That would be me I believe gave away my bag of free tubes then ironically double punctured by comute bike 2 days late. Myt be up to souths in a few weeks so which evers easiest.
I'll check on pics myt have to be tagged or friends of friends tagged can add me if like (Dan weale).
If you want cable disc would seriously look at the gusset one. It's duel actuated like a hydro disc so pulls better and easier to set up
