I agree with the logistical difficulties but same as most other sports. I used to quite happily spend 3 hrs a weekend traveling to play a game of American football.
If could centralize weekends to grouped games would make things easier.
If could get interest I would be up for looking into organising a bench tourney next season.

As a whole podium was so easy to use and set up and works perfectly with hcbp.org. From organisation side its awesome.
with 4 teams of a higher standard then a tight mid table think top teams were always gonna get drawn up against each other after first few rounds.
Yomoyo and Commies had (what seems from the outside to be) really easy games,
Commies royaly screwed ourselves losing to a lower seed first up, then yoyomo 2nd round. 3rd game was a bit harsh draw but other than that think our draws were pretty fair.

Massive thank you to everyone who made the trip yesterday! Everyone who came made all the hard work and effort worth it.
Bigger thanks must go to my team mates Phil and Collin who a) kept me calm and b) helped massively sorting the court setting up and packing down! And running the day. Also big thanks to john h for all his help and advice with running everything. Now have a new found respect for all tourney organisers!
Thank you to all our sponsors BikeTart.com, Canterbury cycle store and magic for all prizes and help. And river side youth centre for an amazing venue. Also thanks to RAF for the spitfire fly bye was a little early but hey.
There's plenty more to come from Canterbury with new double courts in pipe line and an ever growing scene. And anyone who wants to come back for throw ins we have 3 sessions a week so come on down.
Massive thanks again guys. Till next year!!

"One item of clothing must be removed for every goal you concede." – Is this an official NS rule? Like it.
Would you get an item for a goal? And would there be a max/minimum no. of items if clothes to start game?? Are socks paired as an item? And do you get a handicap if you play commando?
Sounds complicated!

Player email been sent out. looks like this just incase ddint go through.
Hey guys and gals,
Sorry haven't sent this sooner but been flat out. just few details ahead of the weekend.
Saturday we are aiming to have registration complete by 10. And would like first games on court by 10.30 at the latest. Depending on draw for first round we will attempt to schedule any local games first and people traveling furthest later in round. (Any problems please let me know)
We will be using NS rules to keep things simple however are considering no double goalies rule if can mark the court.
We have the court from 7pm Friday till Sunday. All the Canterbury lot should be there setting up, building back boards and sweeping court ready for Saturday and having a few throw ins, all are welcome to join us. Be heading to a pub around 9/10ish
Anybody who needs accommodation could you let me know asap, or post on fb group or lfgss forum thread. Have few floor spaces if anybody needs them. Maybe camping at court but nothing confirmed on that front (confirm tomorrow night and will post on forum thread).
Saturday night we have an after party organised at the jolly sailor, 2 minute crawl from courts. Have the garden reserved with marques and plenty of safe bike storage. And a BBQ if not to late.
Facilities wise, the youth center will be open all day Saturday with toilets and also their cafe/kitchen doing teas and coffees. We will also have free bottles of Gatorade and mountain dew. The court is next door to Sainsburys for anything else you may want. Although we have not been directly told about alcohol we would ask people to keep it sensible and keep it to the spectator side of court and not infront of youth centre.
A google map of Canterbury with all the important places marked can be found here:
http://goo.gl/maps/5eY5EAny questions please feel free to ask via email or lfgss pm or phone (no. Below) Looking forward to having everyone here should be an awesome day!!! still have 4 spaces open so spread the word if you know any one interested.
Any problems on day my phone number is: ***********

There the plastic goals Canterbury are using made from flow plast connectors and 40mm pipe all in from b&q cost about £30 a goal. Glued together are pretty strong had people + bike land on em and not broken yet. Only down side is they are lite so need weighing down.
