With the demise of Interstate and the Hackney outlet I am bereft of my usual supply of traditional Carhartt workwear trousers. The Neal St joint only seems to sell the shitty tapered-leg end of the catalogue for, like, young folks.
Where can I go? Or what other trousers can compare?

it's a bit dry and warm to be planting stuff. It might work if it is shaded and gets enough water but you are much better off waiting until autumn or next spring

Of gardening I know nothing, but my slightly crazed neighbour has gone scorched-earth on us again and annihilated almost every living thing in the border opposite my flat. Okay, it was a bit messy, but she took out loads of bulbs and some nice ground cover I put in.
It's a narrow strip against a wall, under a tree, with no direct sunlight. I was thinking about maybe a couple of shrubs. Is it too late in the year to plant new stuff?

How easy is it to install pickups? The pickups on my ESP have sort of sunk if that makes sense, they are no longer sitting the way they should be and I want to set them up properly again.
Shouldn't be tricky, usually just a few turns of the height adjustment screws on the side should fix it.
If it doesn't, then maybe the springs around the screws have become detached or the foam underneath has got too squashed, it depends on the mounting system. Post a pic?
