BTW, do you really need a superlight body? A Glaser will be loads lighter than a Parsons Green. It almost won't add any weight at all.

I have a sneaky feeling Glaser may have developed strong opinions about installing his mech on bodies with softer woods... I would shoot him an email and ask.

I just ordered some nice polished alu DMR V12s for my touring bike partly 'cos of a review that said the pins could be screwed in to make them less aggro. Turns out... nope, they can't. Hmph. But wait... are maybe the magnesium versions tuneable while the alloy ones aren't? Alternatively, can I buy 40 M5 x .7 pins that are somewhat shorter than 8mm, cheap? Or should I just HTFU?

I can't imagine a Malibu getting close either but they look cute... burgundy or the dark blue maybe? I wish I'd nabbed one of the 000-15 or 000-15S Martins when you could import them for £750 new from Nashville, I organised that for a mate once. Funnily enough I tried a new 00-18 in Camden just the other day and thought it was really good. £2900 now over here for a Standard series 18 is just wild though, I can't get my head around it...

Ah memories. Queen Square used to be on my cycling to school route. Taken really really REALLY fast, the turn at the bottom corner going left into Wood St was a mystical experience. I miss my old Holdsworth.

Maybe something like one of those open-ended aviators from Timefactors? Narrowest they do is 20mm... is the current G10 still 19mm? I'm not 100% keen on the screwed-strap look, but it might be more secure than a glued type.

I very very nearly bought one of those from Andy at Angel Music about 10+ years ago... it looked amazing but in the hand the neck felt SO thin and narrow, worse than a 3/4 Ricky. It wouldn't work and I had to step away feeling tragic.
The stock humbuckers may have been DiMarzios at the time, same as my long-lost pink Broadkaster.
