Thanks :) The bars are 3T Podiums from planet x, cheap as chips, but not overly comfortable, no. Getting flat top short-and-shallow bars asap.

Thanks, the seat tube is 64 c-t, top tube 60 c-c. Closest I think I'll come in a production frame to what should ideally be more like 65-57, hence short stem (100 mm) and looking for short-reach bars.

Anyone know of a retailer other than SJS who sell the Soma HWY One bars in Europe? Tried to UTFS, but couldn't find anything, and SJS charge £35 for international delivery!

Thank you! They are not half bad, main point was reducing reach, and those (3T podium) cost almost nothing at planet x, so I thought I'd give them a try. The bonts have nice flat tops, but looong reach. I'm getting Soma HWY Ones as soon as SJS gets them in silver/I decide to just go for the black ones.

PS. "er farlig" translates to "is dangerous" -- I think that's an original sarcastic tag from the 80's when everything was dangerous and skateboarding illegal.

I'm running conti's attack/force combo at 120 psi (22 mm front, 24 mm rear) -- not at all harsh (have ridden with low pressure 30 mm grand bois before, know what cushy tires are like), and still managed a pinch flat yesterday.

Sweeeet! Would be a bit wary about mounting the headlight upside down though, might negatively affect its ability to light up the road/not to annoy oncoming traffic.

I can see how people might not like this but imo its tasteful colour co-ordination . the parts all work together too, maybe change to a silver aero seatpost, the black suits it as it is

In the end I never put it back on as it also made the bike handle really slowly. Plus my groceries would rattle themselves to pieces on the way home (lived in the one part of Leipzig where the cobblestones must not have been repaired after the allied bombings).

Just make sure you mount the winebox securely and with some kind of vibration dampening - tried it myself and ended up with a winebox-shaped loudspeaker for road noise (went deaf going over cobblestones).
