If you spray either the frame or the sticky side of the vinyl with some diluted washing up liquid you can smooth all the bubbles out and move it in to position before it drys off. you'll need use the hair dryer for the tricky bits.
my current front wheel is has 20 radially laced spokes, and my last front wheel had 32 3 crossed spokes, and the 20 spoke is so much stiffer, the 32's used to rub the brakes like a MF.
