Sure, but in theory that gets reported and the council pop round to fix it. My experience is people don't report things but when I do they are repaired quickly, eg failed street lights.

Bollards

Too much roadside pavement things are a nuisance for getting in and out of cars. eg my mum with her Zimmer or wheelchair needs the car door wide open so you can't squeeze past a bollard.

Flush when not in use are available and are being installed in some London boroughs. I'm yet to see one in use. Still lots of scope for the ground to move and then to be not flush.

Different councils have different schemes. The Enfield one has a forever annual licence so there is a source of revenue to pay for maintenance. In theory anyway.

I expect there are almost none. The routers are much cheaper to the ISP than the support calls from people that need help configuring something. You might be okay but if it was an option lots of people would 'save' the money and then need help.

I've never tried and assume not. I carry the crates into my kitchen and empty them onto the worktop there. No bags needed.

Can you tell what kind of order the pickers are doing? I'm fairly sure my weekly order comes from a regular store, not a dark one.

We also have an annual delivery pass so can have daily orders for no delivery fee providing we spend £40 which leads to some fairly small orders with a side of laundry detergent.

I get a weekly delivery from the orange supermarket because I can't be arsed to do my own shopping. I have a connection to the mains sewage system as I can't be arsed to shovel nightsoil when my cess pit is full. Same thing IMHO.

Wetsuit makes you bouyant which I'd imagine is awkward if you don't want the body found too soon. Depending on what kind of wetsuit it is then getting it onto a non-cooperating body sounds close to impossible.

I thought testing for 'everything' generates a fairly high false positive rate and lots of unnecessary and sometimes unpleasant unneeded procedures? Blood tests work well when combined with other symptoms or targeted groups.

Didn't he also retire a decade ago so would probably have stopped having whatever blood tests elite athletes have and yet that's plenty of time for cancer to start?

Maybe they know, have been denied the controls they want for whatever reason and would quite like the ammo for next time they ask?

Pages 1-5 are really obvious things like name/address. Page 6 requires actual thought, why do you want to apply to this thing, so you have to go away and come back later once you have written the required 500 characters. Page 7 is probably just a final confirmation but who knows?

Sounds a lot like malware. Turn the machine off and give it to the IT department for them to isolate and run whatever forensics tools they have. Change your password for important things usita different machine. Check your email accounts for anything you didn't send, your bank accounts, online shopping etc.

I'm not sure I trust my wiring with high current loads. Should probably get that sorted but rewiring a furnished home is too much like hard work...

And TRVs give me graphs and other geek things that make me happy.
