The frame serial number is 950323, is the 95 the year? -either way it is in great condition, no dings and and super 'Genuis' light!

All done - Tom got the BB out, apparently penetrating oil soak and then a gentle heat did the trick.

For a reasonable road commuter:

Must be 170mm crank length
Preference is for a compact, though would consider a nice road standard.
Need plenty of life left in the rings.

68mm threaded shell BB, so not BB30...don't want to convert.

Budget less than £50 posted.
Apart from that most things considered.
Cambridge based so must be willing to post.

Thanks for the offer, I have the BB removal tool but have sheared/cracked the non-drive side cup, and I cannot get the leverage (dare not try to hard in case I do the same that side) to shift the drive side.

Hence the call to the LBS, and thought I'd give these guys a try - no answer on the phone @ the minute though!
