Yeah it is. Every Thursday 6pm to 7pm start, mainly 10 mile time trials. I think it's £2 or £3 for a non club member (£10-£20 membership) otherwise it's free. I've seen a couple of people doing it fixed but predominately it's roadies with aerobars clipped on but everyone is pretty friendly.
This week is the Bottisham 25 TT - big step up from the 10s I've been doing. I think it's a fairly flat course so fixed gear would be doable.
Have you done any TTs on your new build yet?

I've recently started doing my local clubs TT and I've done three so far on my road bike.
Luckily, my club has a Road bike TT competition which means I stand a slight chance of coming first (if I was competing with the pointy hats I'd be up against Michael Hutchinson and some almost as fast people - so no chance of winning).
My question is what can I do to improve my speed instantly on the road bike aside from purchasing aerobars, deep rimmed wheels etc.
Should I change my seat position? Or is the best place for my hands on the drops?
I've also noticed that the riders who overtake me tend to have a lower cadence - I'm normally around 90-100.

A year on...
Not nearly as much progress as I had hoped however the garden is shaping up nicely, just a bit more weeding and planting now.
^The vegetable patch - so far growing potatoes, spring onions, rocket, tomatos and brussels sproutsMeanwhile in the bike shed...
-Roof still needs mending
-Too much bike stuff, see classifieds in about a month.
-Still need to get rid of some of the gardening stuff. -

Been pretty busy recently so the progress has slowed down considerably but it should start motoring along now.
So currently the garden is in a complete mess:

Also - I've been given permission to do the work on the shed by the council!
