I don't have an HHSB and I finally need to get removable bottle cages for my fixed bike, which I meant to do today and forgot again. If I manage to get removable bottle cages before May, which is unlikely given how often I've forgotten to do it, I'm in.
No bottle cages allowed unless they're mounted behind the saddle in true salve style :)

The frame:
The dropouts:

dirkbang's build:

(I think he did another? Someone provide pics!)
Before being stripped by Malaysian:
Malaysian's build:
My first build:

Then:

Later:

Now sold on to veLLo who's going to give Les his gears back.

The specs:
Reynolds 531c tubing, Haden Lugs
Seat tube 62cm c-t (49cm c-c of top tube)
Top tube 55cm c-c
Built for 700c wheelsThe story so far:
His original name was "Monster" cause he's well... a bit fugly and then "Lesley". But the girls all laughed at him so I shortened it...
Actually the decals originally said "MYCYCLES" but my lady took offense to the ugly lettering and decided it would be better with the "MYCYC..." removed. Incidentally MyCycles is the name of a shop up in Worcester somewhere - so I guess the guy or gal who rode this in competition was sponsored by them... bit of heritage there. :)
out of interest did you buy this off gumtree as a complete bike a few years back - it rings a bell of one i narrowly missed out on - same frame with mycycles decals
I did - just over a year back - it has done me proud but it's time to move on! You want to take it this time? ;)
Provisional dibs until I get home and check my exact height (I know, awful) if that's possible?
sold!
For sale again...
In the same condition as when I bought him from Dirkbang, as unfortunately he's too big on the seat tube for me.
Sorry to say, but I'm gonna butcher the shit out of this. Not like it's ever going to see a TT again, so all the braze ons are coming off and it's gettings stripped, metallic clear coated, deep black wheels and risers.
It's with a heavy heart I put up for sells Lesley the Lo Pro... our time together has been short but sweet.
I was hoping you'd sell this for a while but now when you do I've got no money.
Now I'll have to hope someone brings him back to London but then falls out of love leaving me to pick up the pieces
If it's not gone in two weeks it's mine...
Sold sold sold to shinkuu kiss
Basically I decided I am too lazy/irresponsible/stupid to take care of the bare metal, and that I had always wanted a pink bike anyway.
Farewell sweet Les, I know you will be reborn in a different but just as rad form.
I am having the gear hanger re-brased, onto the original ends/dropouts, which will be unchanged.
...
This way the bike can be used with TT or fixed wheels, as originally intended. -

The promised pics of changes to Les:

Basically I decided I am too lazy/irresponsible/stupid to take care of the bare metal, and that I had always wanted a pink bike anyway. I wasn't sure if I'd done the right thing as I rode away having left the frame at Armourtex but I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

Still have the bullhorns so I can switch around depending how I feel, all I need now is new tape for those.oh and a front spok and deeeep carbon rear
