Was thinking that last night as well.
I can't quite believe it. Especially with the price differential between the "old" kit and the new range. My "old" Play:5 cost me new half of the RRP of the current model.
All I'm asking is for the controller app to still work with my device in 10-15 years time. Seriously I have no intention or need to upgrade. And the sound is pretty good as it is. -

Thanks @moocher for the endorsement.

We do. We normally do a couple of art fairs during the year and have an Etsy shop (https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/PotsInTheCity) - which hasn't got very much listed at all :(
We're happy to open our studio to anyone as we're there most week-ends. Near Canada Water -
As your first car to you and your wife, I'd say don't buy anything too pricey. Buy the smallest and cheapest car while you both get used to drive in London. There is more to driving than just passing the test. You'll find the experience comes from doing lots of hours behind the wheel. As new drivers I'd recommend a small engine cheapo just to cut your teeth on. Don't spend thousands on your first motor.

Thanks.
That strawberry planter like pot turned out quite nice despite a suspected slight over firing in the kiln.
To my immense surprise it sold to somebody in California out of all places. The larger penguin is raku fired.
The smaller ones aren't (speckled glaze + India ink). Are you also a potter maybe?
I don't know if anyone is watching the new Great British Throwdown series on More4 in Weds nights. So exciting (for us potters to get a bit of airtime)!

Thanks @jonuxuk
Here you go.
It's quite varied as you can appreciate for yourself. ;)
Enjoy! -

I have no plans for any more major dyi round the house and have accumulated way too much stuff which I'm unlikely to need or use again.

- box of plumbing bits, assortment of bendy plastic joints (£10)

I did the Settled/unSettled process via the app several weeks ago (3-4) and I'm still none the wiser if I got Settled or not. Am I supposed to receive an email or something to say if I'm a #legal-alien or what?
I would really like to be able to chase someone for an update or some info but that doesn't seem possible... bouhhh -

I thought I had pressed 'reply' but didn't... So to answer your question, I have never noticed any road noise from neither the current H6 (3.0R spec b) or the old H4 (2.5i SE) I drove for 6 months.
There is a step up in running costs between the 2, and I wouldn't dismiss a 2.5 based on engine cc alone.
Mine (auto) was pulling nicely and was never found wanting (once the brakes had been sorted).I'm based in SE25. If you want to check it out let me know.

Those are useful.
I got an even cheaper ELM327 one from ebay (£5 delivered) but unfortunately I cannot get it to pair with my head unit. Only my phone.
Anyone knows if it's possible to run Torque or any of the OBD2 apps on an android h-u with one of those?I was looking at one of those Viecar dongles as an "upgrade" to mine. As is standard tech support with China is rather meh.

I would stay away from the 2.0 and diesel models if I'm honest.
Trust me a good 2.5 (H4) will feel nearly as nippy as the heavier H6.
You'll also get lower VED and higher mpg too.
My old 2.5i got me up to low 40s mpg.
As opposed to mid-30s with the 3.0R spec b (H6).
There are lots of Legacies. Dont need to pay lots for them normally and they tend to last. Rust can be an issue though.
I would definitely walk away from that one though. -
Pumpkin like Joying are known cheap Chinese brands of Android double din head-units.
I nearly bought a Pumpkin myself but settled on this one:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/7-Android-8-1-Double-2-Din-Car-Stereo-Radio-MP5-Player-GPS-SAT-NAV-Rear-Camera/383040269431
It comes with all the cables and a rear view camera which is great (fitting it was fiddly but do-able). Getting the correct fascia that would fit the 2Din hu was the real headache.
The great thing with those 'no-name' pieces of kit is that they're fully open and you can then customise them with your own favourite apps.
I use the Agama Car Launcher, and another music player to give me the album artwork which I couldn't have out of the box.
