I assume anyone can just undo a seasucker and steal your roof box? It will be parked out on the street most of the time out of my view.

I’m currently looking at a discontinued rack from the US which would cost almost £600..

I can’t find a rack in the U.K. that works, and to have rails installed on the car is way more expensive. There are some cheap universal racks on eBay, I could gamble on one of those first.

Wouldn’t have been my colour of choice but picked these up for £35 on eBay. Impressively light.

His questions around finances were legitimate but she wouldn’t converse and got prickly. Was a bit awkward. Thought that was going to be a better listen

Looking for some shutters just for one window. Had shutterly fabulous and Hillary’s come in. They’re much of a muchness, similar long lead times, both hardwood made in and shipped from china, similar cost after Hillary’s ludicrous discount. Seemed fine so may just pull the trigger on the latter purely cos the guy seemed alright and lives round the corner and the tilt mechanism was better.

Don’t really want to drag this out as they seemed fine, but any better smaller companies perhaps that anyone would recommend?

You’re not using PTFE anymore right? Notice any difference?

I assume this grey stuff is my PTFE settling at the bottom, but the discolouration being due to dirt accumulating. Should I scrape it off?

Trying to eliminate dirt on my chain. Whenever I re-wax, I clean the chain with boiling water but when I wipe the chain with a cloth there’s still quite a bit of black grime.

Last time I used new wax, and stripped the chain with Silca’s chain stripper. Also cleaned the cassette thoroughly. This is the result after just one waxing.
