Lesson learnt, will take it to my lbs on my next day off and see if they can sort it out without drilling.

Does anyone have any tips for loosening stuck bolts? I tried to change my chainring but the bolts are all reeeeaaallllly stuck. I would usually just crack open a fresh jar of HTFU but I'm worried about rounding off the heads.
