Obviously not geeky enough as actually there are more variants.
The original 600 series was not SIS, nor was the following series either. Indexing only came in with (effectively) the 4th production series of Shimano 600 (though they did overlap somewhat)So you missed out original 6100 series black lettering, friction shift only
6207 series (600EX) black lettering and again friction shifting onlyYou could use the 6207 rear derailleur with an index system if you were very accurate with setting it up.
The 'aero' series was 6300, the first 6 speed index series was 6208.I stand corrected and out-geeked.

You can keep your current cassette and spend less in the process. It'll be slightly more faff but it's good to know how to change a cassette.
I have a black geared wheel suitable for Shimano cassettes, I can get it to London on Friday/Saturday, and I'd like £25 for it. If this works for you I can get photos.

To be collected tomorrow afternoon in central London. Might be able to arrange another date in the next four weeks if you're serious. Jump on this bargain in the off season, and save on the £10-15 postage.
Excellent condition, bought on eBay last winter in this exact condition and used probably 15-20 times. I would keep it but I'm expatriating!
£60SOLD

Perhaps ask rajahstan to chase up the buyer of this bike:
https://www.lfgss.com/thread89436.htmlHe might swap the seatpost for another nice one if you supply it.

I'd like to sell my Elite Crono Elastogel fluid turbo trainer. They are one of the quietest turbos, and have a nice feel to them when pedalling.
Typical eBay prices are £70-100, but I'd accept £65 if collected today from Marylebone station today, 17:46.
