If they'd designed them as a big 'D' to cover the whole drop section, then with poppers or velcro to seperate the large opening into one above the bar for hoods position, then one below for drops it would make much more sense.

And how do you suggest holding the drops with nowhere to wrap your fingers and thumbs G? :]

Downside being that you can only really ride on the hoods as they make the drops redundant.

The information I originally found implied that the yellow is a thicker shackle, hence why it is gold rated and the red is only silver rated.
I also found weights that showed the yellow being heavier which would support that information.

They're pogies...basically like a giant insulated mitten. They're attached because they go over the controls.

A quick heads up...Bloody Parcelfarce still hasn't delivered my parcel containing the coloured metal d rings needed to finish off the INDIGO pouches. First they held it at customs while they decided how much I had to pay, then sent me a letter by snail mail, so I payed the charges and it should have been here yesterday, it wasn't, and it still isn't today either.
Tracking hasn't updated since the tenth so still says held.
I've emailed them to find out where the hell it is and why they haven't delivered, bearing in mind they added their 'handling fee' onto the customs charges.

As soon as the parcel is here I can add the d rings and they'll be finished.
In the mean time I'm going onto the VIOLETS.

I've had one on my belt every single day since I first designed it and would hate not having it there to hold my essentials. Mine always has my phone, my credit cards, my photos of my kids, a couple of pens, and my A to Z inside, then my mini D on the back if I'm out.
I usually have my big bag with me so keep tools and tubes etc in that.

I'm going to add a smidge more length to the flap on future versions of the VIOLET just for when the pouch is more full, as I figure it's more likely to be completely full than completely empty.
I know there are people who wish it was a bit bigger sometimes, but then if it was, it wouldn't be so inconspicuous the rest of the time. It's a 'right tool for the job' kinda thing. Designed to carry just the essentials. If you regularly need to fit more inside it, then the INDIGO is better, which I would like one of myself when I'm less broke and can afford to keep one. :]
