Hey all, complete longshot, but I'm building up a bike which requires U-Brakes... seems I have every other type of brake in the shop, but not one of these - although I did have one on a GT which was nicked ages ago.

If you do have one lying about, I'd be very much up for it... can trade lots of bits, or beers/ possibly even cash ;) I just need the front, but may eventually fit the rear as well, someday... probably not though.

Am going to go on an purchase one, if this falls through, as I'm pretty certain it will....

Got bumped by a car behind today from behind while making a right, which scared the hell out of me and reminded me that plunging from a commute in light to one in darkness is a recipe for disaster. I don't know if this is the right thread, but my brain went straight to the statistical side - accidents last Thursday v. accidents this Thursday. Does anyone have any info, or could point me to something which will I can push around and hopefully help less people get killed?
