I'm NW Derby. For ride from town, White Peak loop is good, either via Tissington Trail or High Peak, but need to get to Whatstandwell. These trails are at the less gnarly end of the spectrum though.

After a ten minute search, my GP surgery receptionist tells me that it's because I had a slightly low white blood cell count once in 2012, which has been fine since then. Am I really at high risk and have I been all this time?

I've been happily running a Shimano CX50 crankset with a 1x chainring for a while but there's a frequent creak, I believe due to the axle being pitted where it contacts the BB. If I swap for a GRX 1x chainset, will chain line become much of a problem? I'm trying to decide between GRX or another conversion such as Ultegra 8000 with 1x chainring. Current shifting works really well. Tiagra rear mech.

On that same site is a sportive happening today around Mam Tor. Would be interested in what route that takes but cannot see a map.
