Really helpful - is there any particular reason you opted for the interface + optical over the satellite other than zero latency? Seems like pairing a satellite with something like a Motu 16a would get me the most ins/outs + processing power for the money, but I might be missing something.

I have been looking into a UAD interface also - do you know if expanding with with optical can you use the plugs on all those channels too or are you limited to the inputs on the unit? (Or will it rinse the processor?)

I think my riding has also adjusted as I used to get a few on 700 when I first got the bike and don’t seem to any more, it’s a fairly buttock clenching experience when riding loaded.

it’s mostly because I need a new wheel anyway. 650 should be a bit stronger than 700, and I have other 650 wheels just in case spokes start snapping etc. can swap one in temporarily.

I use it pretty much exclusively for work so while wifi would be nice it’s a fairly unnecessary upgrade.

Has anyone DIY dimpled the OG omniums chainstays?

I need a new rear wheel and just stuck a 650x47 to test - the clearance is close enough that a minor buckle is not going to be too much fun.

Think I’m gonna go for the M1 mini. I have an old 24” cinema display (mini dp), will it work with an adapter on the HDMI port and the USB ‘hub’ from the USB port? would be handy if I didn’t have to upgrade the monitor immediately.
