I don’t get the adoration
I've gone through most of my adult life denying his talent (much like The Beagles) but that's just posturing really. He wrote some incredible songs, his skill was to take the bits he liked from artists on the bleeding edge and make them palatable for the masses.
He wrote killer rock'n'roll tunes but all he wanted was to be big on Broadway!!

I know what you mean, when my phone died this time last year I bought a cheap Motorola as a temp phone that was every bit as good as the Pixel 5.
I went back to the shop today and was told I'd have to speak to a manager on Monday about what happens next (no manager in the branch on a Saturday?!?). I'm scared they're gonna try and fob me off with the 'one stuck pixel is within tolerance' schtick, then I'm stuck with a very expensive defective phone that I'm gonna find it impossible to live with.
I gave the Motorola away once my Pixel 5 warranty replacement arrived, I regret doing that now, although it went to a very good home.

That's a Roger Mayer Voodoo Fuzz that @rickster gave me many, many moons ago. My '59 Junior into that into a Solton 65w head (which I also got from @rickster!). I got the Boss tremolo pedal as a leaving present from him and the guys on Guitar magazine and he was, er, instrumental in helping me get my old Junior too. Well, waddayaknow! 🥰

Thankfully it's stainless, past me was smart enough to realise that future me would inevitably find myself in this situation and made a very smart choice. But of course I'd forgotten about all that when I saw it on the bench top next to the lemon.
I leave my posh Nakiri tucked up in its box, safely out of harm's way. The Gyuto still lives in the knife block, I know I'm probably asking for trouble but what you gonna do?
I bought them both before I was diagnosed with GORD, I don't get to prepare and eat anything fun anymore. 🤣🔫

I only ever use my IKEA paring knife to open packets of meat, my Sabatier was used to pry open a lid and the tip snapped. An IKEA chef's knife does most of the heavy lifting these days. I'm too scared/CBF to use my good knives.
A few months ago I got home from work one evening and found my precious Damascus Gyuto on the bench next to the remains of a lemon that had been sliced up that morning. The blade was undamaged thankfully.
CBD oil is great.

It's great! It's had a mod done, a capacitor cut switch, three positions, not sure if that means there are multiple caps in there but it cuts out bass frequencies in stages to make it sound less flubby.
Very loud, same size as my Super Champ, I was originally expecting it to be smaller but figured it would be similar sized when I saw it had a 10" speaker in it.
Love it! Eighty quid!!
