Those late 60s NOLA drummers were out of this world! Zigaboo et al. Apparently they all got their shit from Smokey Johnson, this track is fantastic, another much cherished NOLA funk 45.

My all-time fave Hammond funk instrumental, paid a fortune for my copy back in the late 90s then Jazzman reissued it! Nice to have a cheap copy of Hot Pants Breakdown now tho'. Marvel at the frenetic, syncopated urgency of the Soul Tornado's. Never a guaranteed floorfiller which always surprised, annoyed and depressed me in equal measure. Enjoy!

Super Mario Wonder is too easy and too small. Orders of magnitude easier and smaller than either 3D World or Odyssey. Very disappointed, very poor show, Nintendo!!

Managed to snag two more pairs of these yesterday in the Black Friday sale for less than A$170, retail is normally A$230. Pretty happy, they feel good and they aren't New fucking Balance. Podiatrists can fuck off. 😋

On the subject of UA, anyone got the Ox box? Although I've been having fun with Neural Amp Modeler I would like to record through my own amps, I struggle with mics, I'm really shit at it!
PS & BTW I used BandLab to master a few tracks the other day, so good. Very impressed with the results and totally free.

Looks like I may not be getting the FIL's Merc after all. Not right away anyway. I rarely drive my Suby XV now that I've got the ute and I've also found a cash buyer for it. Trouble is I haven't been able to find anything I like that doesn't cost a shitload more than I'll get for the Suby.
