Perhaps over-priced... they're going for around £280 on eBay and anything over £300 is ending unsold.
This one here (ending in 2 hours) is £265:

Do you not care about how recently it was roasted? As far as I'm aware it's not possible to determine the roast date on Illy coffee and you definitely can't buy it the day after it was roasted (regardless of when you choose to use it).
dont you think that their packaging is effective? design of the commercial 3kg drum is good.
Don't take me wrong I would love to have my coffee roasted on the day of sale but i'm not lucky enough.
-
bullshit.
http://www.mediaweek.co.uk/news/176483/Italian-coffee-brand-Illy-chooses-Leagas-Delaney-ad-drive/hats off.
still dont agree that is over marketed or part of a hype
-
Booked in.
Feels sad. Like the poor thing is going to have it's guts ripped out.
If it costs more than £200 all-in, I'm buying a new machine.
probably i should quote that when I went on about x7
If you actually took time to read the thread you would realise some people (myself included) like to look beyond the overmarketed hype that is FF and Illy
actually illy or FF is not a part of some sort of hype and definitely not over marketed. Illy by choice does not have any budget for marketing and it never did.
before any one assumes - I don't work for them. with a little bit more interest in actual coffee market that's rather common sense.there's a lot of anger in you Bainbridge

2 week old build, under 100 miles

Sadly it was a build for my ex and for obvious reasons selling on.
Did couple of miles on it but way to short for me.
Looking for decent £400 or swap for a nice ss/fg in 58-60cmyou can always have a look in Farringdon during the week

i've worked as a professional barista, coffee trainer, cafe consultant for a while now running my own and most of my mate will see me as a coffee geek at work all manual at home for my perfect espresso or cappuccino Francis Francis X7. only for those who don't mind using just one coffee which is illy in that case.
Had it for 2 years now and requires cleaning process once every 6-8 months. -
If I can't get a repair job for under £200, then I'm good for £400 > £1k so long as it's serviceable and will last at least 5+ years.
It can't be a plumbed-in one, nor taller than 17 inches.
What coffee u want to use? U can pick a great machines for £200 and if u lucky with second hand gaggia ts in whatever state I could service it for you
-
Right - What coffee machine for an office of 30 - 60 people?
The current machine is thankfully broken, so I have a chance to campaign for a decent unit.
Any suggestions?
No budget just yet.
Francis Francis x2 proper coffee uses 7g perfectly grounded capsules which makes it foolproof and mess proof with manual steamer.... Great all rounder have one in my cafe on display and sometime is used on outside catering.
Pop in to have a look and test. Btw mine is not for sale :P

but the forum appreciate people which have no intention of buying just telling off for pricing the item they not even interested in?
mate, everyone talks but so far i just hear that frien sold one or something about buying one for 220....
i made myself clear before
if you would be interested instead just bored on sunday afternoon it will be easier. reality is people are just opinionated.
i need some action. if someone will be actually negotiating the price i might go lower but so far is just pointless comments.
if you know where to get them really cheap maybe you should share it here http://www.lfgss.com/thread6-629.html
