Three of us heading over this Saturday for the novice induction. Very excited, to the point of dreaming about it last night! Never been on a track before, so should be interesting. Plan to wear forum jersey in the hope of meeting fellow forumites.
Quick question - are there facilities for stowing road bike and bag?

Not just better than Blackburn and Stoke, there are higher attendance at Dortmund and Bayern than there are at Man Utd and Arsenal as well.
I'd say the Bundesliga will be the league to beat in 5 years time. So much young talent tied to long term contracts on very good wages, those players are no longer coming over to play on a WWTNIS.
http://bundesligafanatic.com/?p=342For the record, in the league this season Stoke's home games have been pretty much sell outs. Our average gate is 27,531 with a capacity of 28,383.

Friday evening I was following a lady wearing a skirt which kept floating up at the back, revealing a rather tasteful thong. Probably watched for a little bit too long before pointing it out to her. Her response was a cheery: "Oh well, won't see you again". Highlight of my commuting week, if not year.

I wonder if it'll be raining in Stoke on October 26th?
I don't fancy our chances against you, even at home. Win earlier in the season didn't reflect the game and Liverpool's dominance. Perhaps, midweek, with a cold drizzle, we might eek out a result.
Good game against the Turks last night, which gives some cause fo hope. Crouch looks to have settled in nicely.

LOL
We had a fight with a load of aggressive locals on the beach in Tel-Aviv in my youth. We had a job setting up deck chairs and they refused to pay us for some reason or other so we went along the beach 'un-setting them'
Istanbul was nice, it was only in one of the seaside resorts that one guy threatened to stab me because I wouldn't buy a chess board. I told him to fuck off and the next thing I knew 10 of the fuckers appeared out of no where and I had to make a break for it.Those were the days :)
You're filling me with confidence :) I was in Istanbul for the 2009 UEFA final and the atmostphere was great. It was played in the Fenerbahce stadium and didn't see a whiff of trouble. Really fancy the Kiev fixture, never having been there, but it will probably be the scariest (and most expensive flight). Don't think that tickets will be too hard to come by.

Walm in amongst the stationary traffic on the Kings Road this morning - good to see you sir!
