The exchanges I have had with ex-pat russians here in Finland most of them more or less just block it out like Brickman commented. They aren't really pro or against, but over compensate by living 100% like there was nothing at all happening. It leads to some very weird behaviour and I hope it is just a stage. I don't think I can deal much longer with them demanding favors and special treatment because they are russian and everybody is just so racist. I understand we need to treat them as humans, but surely they need to take some responsibility at some point.

I have a feeling sanctions are not working. There is just so much wealth in Ruzzia that they do not have to worry about restrictions to trade. Too many loopholes are provided. EU should void all the russian visas and really restrict movement of ruzzian money. Let Ruzzia become a pariah state like North Korea and transport those that have tasted the life in the evil West back.

This is the thing. Putler is dying soon and the rest of the goons are just waiting to grab the power. If we let them it is easy to blame everything on the senile old man. The sad thing is nothing changes. There have been fascists like Vladimir Žirinovski for as long as I remember in Russia. For a long time they were on the fringes. In lot of ways it is the same mechanism that brought Trump into power. You have a crumbling empire and the people try to find ways to hold on to country's glorious past. Unfortunately this means this time Ruzzia will need to be dismantled more throroughly than what happened in 90s and the change needs to come from within.

Nice, I'm really tempted myself and it would be real cool to try hear some first hand experiences. There was some chatter that Sensah was working on a hydraulic shifter set. I have loved the mechanical ones so maybe I can wait a bit. Not really a fan of the campy style thumb shifter buttons, but if they work without too much issues I could live with them for a while.
PS. I've had Shimano RS505s ie. 105 level and those were pretty horrible. I guess the newer ones could be ok, but sadly flat mount calipers only

Who is first and stupid enough to try £389.04 2x11 R9 hydraulic shifters from LTWOO? Post mount I think so would be great for upgrading from cable disc brakes.

In the end it was Ruzzia that shot almost 100 missiles to energy infrastructure in Ukraine. If they hadn't Ukraine would not have had to try to shoot them down. The only reasonable take from this is that Ukraine needs to be provided with the latest and the greatest in air defense systems. We can't let Ruzzia freely terrorize the civilians when they lose on the battlefield.

I had one for a while and with my meager power output it did not feel flexy. Mind you I think my best lap average was 48km/h. However it just felt kind of flat and not very confidence inspiringly lively like my carbon fiber road bikes. I have had an alloy Cinelli Mash and steel track frames. To be honest I like the steel one best. It is stiff and transmits power best.

Yeah, fair enough. Still I don't think as a legal entity a company can have a concience or other goal than creating value. The people running it should and that is weak point in the equation. we are getting off topic so let's just end with #slavaukraini #putinhuilo #russiaisaterroriststate

You can call me naive, but I was hoping we would have been past this mideval crap. Of course wars are always about money and resources, but when will we be too far that road. Corporations are not supposed to have a concience like nation states. Their only raison d'etre is to create shareholder value. Which one will be the first one to deploy robot drone army and build nukes to extract maximum added value?

The sad thing is that Putler may have actually been a balancing force in ruzzian politics. There are far more evil movements in Ruzzia and that issue needs to be solved before we can expect to have lasting peace.

The Wagner scum need to be eradicated just like ISIS. There should be no place for sledge hammer murderers on this earth. The thing that worries me is that it is basically global mercenary corporatism at this point. US opened to the door to using all kinds of "security consultants" giving Blackwater contracts in their bs war in Iraq.

This is bit of a game changer. Apparently there is going to be a hydraulic group coming from Sensah as well. -
There is so much of this type of content now that you get desensitized. Laughter is one way to deal with the absurdity of it all. My favorite part was when the guy lost his hat as they were racing away from a himars salvo.
The other video taking the rounds is where a guy blows himself up in the brushes and then gets finished with a hand gun. You kind of almost feel sad that a person's life ends for nothing in some god-forsaken wasteland. Then you remember they are there to rape and pillage.

If you are talking about Crimea one thing to understand it is kind of nice weather wise. Just like brits are moving to Magaluf or Malaga ruzzians have been getting property in Crimea. Ruzzian government did not have to force anybody there. People were willing and eager to relocate from miserable Moscow to somewhere nicer. With the population growth resources like clean water really are a limitation to development.

Sports is the one safe place to practice nationalism. In a country under attack it does take some pretty fanatic forms and it is totally understandable. Football is part of Ukrainian identity and they have actually been pretty good at it.
