For sure, I didn't see that coming, but I guess it is only fair. In all honesty popping is kinda low impact so I'm more worried about what my skateboarding and winter cycling will do to my hips. A colleague actually broke his hip commuting just couple of years ago and it did not seem like a lot of fun.

Ottawa treaty against land mines is the stupidest thing ever. Ruzzia of course has not ratified it, but this is the sort of thing that replaces well-thought out and documented mine fields. For some reason it is better to just shoot mines all over the places where there is no chance of actually ever clearing them.
Terrorists!

To be honest I don't really see anything wrong with ukrainians doing their best to summon support with a information warfare. The gold teeth case seemed to have possible alternative explanation, but I guess nobody knows what really happened until all graves are opened and victims examined. Then again each and every dying or maimed human is an awful loss so really there are plenty of reasons to hate ruzzians already. What I'm mostly worried about is how on earth are we going to be able to live next to such monsters.

Sometimes I wonder if all of this is some cunning info warfare from Ukraine. I mean they would have the means for it, but the awful thing is that Ruzzia is just that horrible. Sometimes I almost feel sorry for the mobilized. They have just no chance of survival unless they desert at the first opportunity. Ukraine deserves revenge, but what would be sufficient.

I was trained to deal with the yellow enemy from the East. To be honest in the end it does not matter whether the enemy makes decisions on the fly based on objectives or they get good plans from above. Like ukrainians say "We are very lucky they are so f*cking stupid". Thing is the plans are not that great to begin with and they don't have comms capability to change on the fly.

I've done 11 months of mandatory military service. For normal infantry it really isn't all that difficult. You can pretty much learn on the job. Operating and maintaining weapons isn't much of a challenge. Finding cover and digging fox holes is pretty self-explanatory. The problem is you need somebody to run the show. You need to have officers that know what they are trying to accomplish and can explain why. You need to have comms, intelligence and
rear support. So even if Ruzzia throws in million men it will not be able to solve the critical issues. -

Thanks, we knew we could do it, but we were busy dancing and doing blow.
On other news: Today I've seen multiple young couples wondering aimlessly around Helsinki. They say we got 50k visitors yesterday. That's a lot for a town this size. Most probably don't have connecting flights yet so they are sightseeing. I can't feel sorry for these well-off buggers that actually made it here. They should have acted and done something much earlier.

I can't understand why do ruzzians want to destroy the earth. Its like they just want to drag us all into harmageddon with them. The natural gas emission has 80% more warming power in the air than CO2. All the other green initiatives can be thrown to bin until we stop this awful waste. We are on a road to total destruction of the earth. Somebody needs to kill Putler for the sake of the world.

Heck no, There are 5 million or so finns. On the other side of the border there are just as many ruzzians in Leningrad. They start freely wondering over we are done. We already have a russian speaking minority since in the 90s our president Koivisto wanted to support the russians with finnish heritage. In my youth there were never this many russians in Finland. We want to keep our own culture and not be invaded to save the russians.

Dugin is not a politician. He is a fascist philosopher. Call him what he is. Anyways who knows if Dugina was even killed. She is probably in Iran getting a nose job. At least his father was all sunshine in her funeral #onlyinruzzia

Why does it hurt so much when you get old? I was just cruising around the Myyrmäki park with my 3d camera and managed to get a massive bruise on my ass and smash both lenses after wiping out

I find the UK custom to announce pay range somewhat curious. You are worth what you can negotiate. In my local market the pay is always solved case by case basis. I've hired several people in IT sector and it is never straight-forward discussion. Your current pay, poker face and acuteness of resource need all come to play. Also I've decided to not apply for roles that clearly where expecting too much for too little money.
I would love to work for Rapha. I think coming into the office and soking up the life style would be a perk. Having spent the whole Corona-period stuck at home the last 6 months at the office has been amazing. Sometimes working from the bike shed is alright, but like it was said when you meet people things just move along smoother.
The only thing I would criticize is the specific technologies required. Most often if you know one CI/CD tool you can pretty much adapt to any other product without much of a learning curve.
