I live in a place where it can get seriously cold for much of the year, with the shoulder seasons more akin to a UK winter, though not usually as wet.
Not sure what brands you might be referring to with “modern fashion” but anything kind of in that category does not appeal - I wear a high neck heavy sweater for most of the winter. We don’t have a car either so that plays into it as well.
I’ll admit that a tweed jacket appeals to me mostly for looks as it is not as practical as a dense sweater, but here I am, asking about such in the fashion thread.

I always recommend the MKS MT-FT.

Had our first moka in years, funny thing despite the great heavy flavour there was a touch of metallic taste to it, never noticed previously but maybe was just used to it? Alu maker, maybe try stainless again some time.
