If it helps, I ride a 56 everywhere else and this fit me with a shortish stem. Different fit for cross (for me, anyway).

Steerer is 1", assumed 1 1/8 as I've always just run a shim.

Super cool cross frameset, I think rock lobster designed and kinesis made. Measures 55cm top tube and seat tube is 53cm centre to centre.

It rides really well, is nippy and the high BB makes it feel really racy.

Only reason I'm selling is that I've gone to one do-it-all/adventure/gr*vel type thing.

£150 posted seems fair but open to offers.

I'll leave on the avid cantis and the ultegra chainset plus colour matched chain guide.

They're great frames. Currently on the hunt for a HM supersix then I'll likely sell this one. Think there's already a queue though, they're hen's teeth in 56cm.

Got a plainer Garmin mount on there now anyway, but looking at a k edge type one. I quite like the seatpost as it's the original, but yeah - bit too busy. Was thinking stealth superlegerro or zipp. Matching post/stem that way.

Looking towards getting this back on the road in the next month or so. Gold chains are a no-no, right? Was thinking tanwalls too, but is that done? Definitely not both at the same time.

I reckon it needs a flatter stem, but don't really want to lose that original monster.
Any recommendations that'd look suitably chunky? Normal diameter stems look weird with the thick tubes.

It's so cool, and the first one of those I've seen. That fork is wild, it'd be a shame to lose it. Seems early for discs on a cross bike as well.

No interest? Bit surprised tbh. Bit of a price drop to £425 posted/£500 with bontrager brakes. Don't want to go much lower, will stick it back in a box until summer if need be.

I'd very much consider a swap for a nice decent modern steel frameset or a caad12/palace/supersix type thing.

No - it's paint damage but the seat tube is tapered (squared off?) below where the clamp sits. It confused me when I first saw it, but it's meant to be like that.

You can sort of see it in this picture - the reflection changes on the taper.

Pains me to do it, but I've realised that I need to sell this as it's just not going to be used this year.

54/55cm top tube And 54/55 to the top. It's very 'long and low' and on the couple of rides I have done on it it's just a joy. Only reason I'm selling is that I have another bike I use more, and 2 kids.

Couple of paint chips but nothing major. Worst is on the top tube but it's just a bit chip, not a dent. It could be retouched easily as it's on the solid colour not the fade.

It's in York and I'd like £375 posted, or £450 with the bontrager speed limit callipers in the photos.

Was only kidding. If I'm honest, I didn't actually look at the listing properly, assumed it was for the numberplate!

God, I wish I'd stocked up on cheap 531ST tanks a year ago, so I could have built them up from the parts bin and sold them as 'gravel bikes' with hipster tax added on.
