have a threaded "Campagnolo clone" Tange headset.....looks identical to a 1970/80's Super Record in chrome, clean and complete ....asking £15.00 collected or can post
Do you have a model name? Sounds good, definitely.
I have a black Condor 1" threaded headset for a tenner if you like (plus beer if you want it fitting too). It's been fitted, but the stack height was too high for my frame / fork combo. Could do with a new roller bearing insert - I doubt they cost much at Condor, but haven't actually asked. Know what stack height you need?
No idea about stack height as it's a new frame, do you have a model as well so I can look for parts? Thanks.

It PAINS me to ask this question. But can anyone suggest the cheapest place to buy inner tubes, cables (apart from ebay) etc? I really can't cope with trawling chainreaction etc to see who has the best price, is there somewhere everyone goes to stock up?
I realise it's probably only a matter of pence difference..Also, most reliable cheap inner tube (no self healing or anything)?
Ta. And sorry.

I've done camelot (an ex and I had a three bedroom flat to ourselves for a year; in an ex-council block in Streatham, so it wasn't exactly interesting or nice, but it was an obscene amount of space for £25pw), and a few other forum people do at the moment; there are various discussions about it on the forum but I can't remember where they are. I'd recommend it if you don't have a ton of stuff/pets and you're OK with being kicked out at short notice.
If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take you to get allocated a place? My brother's waiting for a place to come up, having applied about a month ago.

I'm after a beater 531 or equivalent decent steel frame for a winter build, probably going to be SS with 700c x 35 or 38 tyres on. A frame with 27" clearances would be great, or something with enough clearance for fat tyres and mudguards with canti brakes.
Anyone got anything?
Ideally 56/57 TT and around the same ST (but that's not as important to me, I just have a short torso).Sub £50...
Ta
edit: Just noticed the title, I think I meant 'deep' clearances, rather than 'long'.

I was tempted to buy one of these, but realise I have absolutely no reason to.
If anyone can use one though, excellent price.

Ah ha. Thanks for that. I haven't actually got the frame yet, but it's early 90s, so it'll be 'normal'.
Maybe I should just wait...
