Nice frame, but £48 for posting?? Should be about £20 fully insured with Parcelfoce packed sensibly i.e. fork removed and safely packaged.

A couple of additional lengths of cable included if you wanted to run in-line adjusters you could use this from the lever to one end of the adjuster etc.

Looks like the group head to boiler seal, or possibly boiler cap seal.

Seal 8 is the seal that will probably be at fault. It seals the heating element to the boiler which contains the water.

There is the element seal/o ring. Undo the 3 hex nuts and you'll see it. Fit a new seal and you should be back in business. You may get away with just tightening the bolts!

Yes the o ring is what I am referring to 😁 on older machines with brass elements it's a paper/cardboard gasket which needs to be scraped off sometimes.

As long as the boiler ring is threaded on enough to ensure the element (which bolts to the ring) can be tightened firmly to the boiler then the boiler to base gasket can't really cause a leak. I guess it's all hypothetical until he whips the base cover off and has a look 😁

The only way the base ring could be making it leak is if it actually was able to spin free, which it can't do as the element and electrics are bolted to it. It can loosen a little (boiler can sometimes have lateral movement when it's warmed up) but wouldn't be the cause of the leak.

It will be either the element seal or something to do with the pstat (no seals involved with that) so a cheap fix. Easy to do and basic tooling needed.

No oil filter wrench required. The boiler to base ring simply attaches boiler to the base and doesn't have any seals, nor is it's job to seal any water.

Included is the Jagwire compressionless housing that I fitted which was also new and has done the same mileage.

I also have a pair of brand new Tektro pads I bought last month and did one ride on one of the pairs to see the difference, the other pair is new in box. These will also be included.
