DJ - yes, based just south of Gloucester. Picked up the frame a couple of weeks ago, went with a wet paint and lacquer finish in the end. The colour was called 'Maserati blue' which does sound dead ostentatious, but turned out a bit like Argos's old 'flam blue'.
It cost £50, which is rather cheap for the frame only.
Have started building it up, so will take a couple of shots - welcome to come and have a look also. I'm happy with the quality.

I used to work with a bloke we called arachnid - he was always scuttling around and spent most of his time on the world wide web.

Dropped an old frame off at a sprayers in Gloucester this week. Quoted a hell of a lot less than Argos ( who are very good ). Powdercoating is even cheaper, around 50 quid plus VAT.
Will be interesting to see how this turns out - will let you know.
