For sale my stepfathers old but immaculate Raleigh Pioneer, for sale because "he'd rather walk these days" (retired). Not the usual thing for this forum i know but thought i'd stick it on here before it goes on the bay. It's in Bristol but can be delivered any time after next weekend for about £15-20.
54cm ST, 57cm TT.
Lugged 18-23 frame.
Shimano 100GS shifters and mechs. (18spd)
Sakae XTE chainset.
Sakae stem and seatpost.
Shimano M200 canti brakes/SLX levers.
Alesa 414 black alloy rims on ? hubs.
IRC Cross Country 700-38c tyres - like new.
Pioneer Gel saddle (looks well comfortable).
Plastic Mudguards (discoloured slightly and rear has a small crack).I took it out of the garage and gave it a quick once over, cleaned and oiled chain etc. and it rides very well, i don't think this thing has done more than 100 miles from new.

just buy this shimano at a ridiculous price. If you plan to ride fixed for a while you should have a good tool. or get the FGL one.
Got a pedros 'fixie tool' for a bargain price, saw that shimano one but already have a chain whip and hated the idea of buying the same tool twice. I have to say that it fits BB's aswell.
-
-
Probably.
I used the pedros fixie tool thing for my BB's, so I guess it would work the otherway round. If you've got one, try it first I guess.
Cheers mate, i thought they looked a little similar - i thought that seeing as the tooth in the slot and pressure from the rest of the tool is the only thing that makes it work, it would fit as long as the tooth did. That means £2 postage rather than buying a new one as i can't find mine and i'm putting a new lockring on a new wheel, so if i borrow one i can't check the tension after riding.
