Are there any clubs in London that have facilities to lock up a bike?
How safe would it be to lock a bike inside Kings Cross Station to one of the bike railings - am thinking at least they have some security there and if I use a couple of locks it would take a thief a few minutes in which time the guards might disturb them.
I have one Krypto Mini D and an Abus Granit Steeloflex.
I am aware of all the usual advice - keep the lock mechanisms facing down, keep them away from the floor, minimise the gap between the frame and the lock to stop leverage etc etc.
Of the bikes reported stolen here, in what proportion was there a locking fail - eg weak lock, not locked to a secure fixture, etc and how often was it the lock that got cut/picked/ smashed?

I suffered this after a month of having my bike. Had done my usual day cycle to work, gym at lunch, cycled to fencing, fencing session and then it hit on the way home.
Sugar levels dropped completely, lightheaded, clammy, v disorientated and nauseous and no sense of depth perception. Crawled into a shop and grabbed chocolate, soft drinks and nourishment shakes. 3 minutes later i was back on the bike feeling fine.
I described it to a few people who all knowingly said it was the bonk.
