I didn't have problems setting mine.
I had this sram red crankset GXP and I used it several years in a BSA frame. When I bought the Ciocc frame I didn't know it it was BSA or Italian thread. The seller did not tell me. When it arrived I noticed that it was italian (a friend of mine has a CIOCC for BSA bb)... I bought a Truvativ GXP for italian thread and it works just fine. No problems so far -

last year I bought this CIOCC frameset. It came with a blue steel forks.
The low price made me buy it without thinking twice but when it arrived I saw that the frame had a problem with the dropouts. I had to repair the dropouts and now the rear wheel is aligned.
I have some 1' full carbon forks and I think this frame asks for one of them.
Right now I'm looking for a groupset (yeap, I like to ride sram. Campagnolo guys can start calling me names) to build the bike. I must buy also an italian GXP BB.I think it has potential for a fast road bike. The frame seems stiff.

thanks!
Still not happy with the headset. I think I must try another one and also low the saddle 4 or 5mm. I think I'll trade the brakes for sram red silver ones.
