Cipolinni sends out used goods purporting to be NOS http://www.lfgss.com/thread97859.html#post3299704 then when I pointed out the rear hub was used and asked for a refund he calmly states that they are NOS and there are no refunds..
Clearly laced up and used, scratched hubshell and original skewers replaced with mismatching low level crap that are also scratched up.
The pictures speak a thousand words

Complete and utter dick move by Cipolini, I'll be suprised if you get an actual refund off him, seems like a right twat looking at his previous posts.
My selling record says it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It really does, that's all Ciplo's ever done is sell, and everything sold here is always on sale at retrobike aswell. He seems to not care about the rules or anything else on this site.
Does he do anything else or just use this site to sell? I can't find one post from Cipo that has not got something to do with selling or making money. I would of thought that someone so prolific in making money off this site would of at least had the decency to donate some small amount.how do I neg rep someone? 'cause Cipo really deserves it.

Though I'd share some pics of Goodwood Revival this year, they had a load of 250 GTO's and some other pretty nice stuff

also went to see that 50 years of James Bond cars down at Beaulieu, but was more impressed with some of the other collection....
I think this is the second oldest Bugatti

1st Cadillac imported into the UK

and a cool looking Royal Enfield car/bike thing

my friends are pretty much into their cars instead of bicycles for some reason, my mate Ian built this in his garage, its a Humber Super Snipe
Humber Hot Rod Burnout - YouTube
Engine is a 460 cu\i Ford.
Performer RPM inlet manifold and camshaft.
750cfm vacuum secondary Holley carburetter.
The gearbox is a C6 auto.
Rear axel is a 9inch Ford with disc brake conversion, locking 3.5-1 differential.
Front axel is a narrowed XJ12 crossmember.
Jaguar power brakes, with an isolater switch for the rear discs
65mm exhaust with "cutouts" operated by 2 levers under the dashboard, allowing the exhaust to exit under the front wings.
The body has a 7 inch roof chop. The whole back has been raked 9inches. Rear wings widened by 2inches, then welded and blended into the body. Front wings extended, frenched headlights. Pro racing scoop to bonnet. Interior is deep buttoned blue velvet seats, cream headlining, art deco velvet/aluminium door cards. Burr mahogany vineered dashboard.^I don't know what any of that means but it is pretty cool and a good laugh..
There's also a bunch of other projects knocking around at work, Baja Bug, 71' Olds 442,
79' Lincoln this just got painted with a roller and house paint about a month ago so it could be used in some movie in Oxford
lincoln burnout tmr - YouTube
I think the nicest project in the garage is an Autocraft '73 Ferrari Daytona but it needs a bucket load of work, oh and someone dropped off a nice little Alfa GTV for bodywork and a respray, I'll take a few pics tomorrow its really nicely built, seamless panels etc..

Thanks Bare, ^the machine is my neighbours, he's a metal fabricator so helps out a lot with problems and has some nice old machinery....
My problem from yesterday was buffing through the necklace, I've got a tiny crack and it feels as thin as tin foil in one spot. My neighbour is going to tig weld it (copper rod) on Monday so it should solve the problem and give me enough new material to work with. I reckon if I tried it it would blow the piece apart knowing my luck. Overall got it shaped nicely so far, copper all over the place, pretty happy how it came along except for the crack....

^that's the crack, top piece, inch left of the 'V' bit (looks like an indent)

Thought I'd share my 'craftsy' project,
Hit 40 this year, been a messenger since I was 18 and now not really sure what to do so been trying different stuff.
Had a drunken conversation last year with a good friend about the value of jewelry, he was trying to get some stuff made and was being charged a lot of cash. So obviously after a few drinks I said I could do a better job than that and for a lot cheaper, his reply was ok then do it.
So the project was to make a choker type necklace that looked different for his new 'hippy' girlfriend.
I started with some steel rods, cut them up and welded them together to make a circle...

Next welded the 2 circles together one on top of the other.....

then started the long process of grinding and sanding (broke it so many times...)

When finished I cut it in half....

then drilled out the centre of rod 2mm and stuck in neodymium magnets I found off amazon so it looks pretty much seamless and then powdercoated clear and done.....

you can just about see the joins on both sides top and bottom

Overall he was really happy with it so this week I've been working on a new choker but this time he wants it to match this Elsa Peretti Tiffany bracelet....

I found out its made of copper and coated in ruthenium... so started by bending a big chunk of copper into a circle...

yesterday got it really well shaped, going to use the magnets again as an invisible join, will post a few more pics if anyones interested, cheers J

Repost.
Just take the parts that interest you from what you read and ignore the rest, it's probably easier than asking somebody to conduct themselves differently.
+1
I'm glad for testers 'info' posts, even though they can be sometimes classed as 'overly passionate' they always seem to be correct and helpful. I personally prefer to read a comment or advice with correct info rather than a dumb idea spewed out by someone with no knowledge on the subject. -
