I bought one of the ludicrously expensive but ultimately worth it HDMI to USB C adapters a few weeks ago from the Bluewater store - paid online and selected a pick-up timeslot. Asked when I got there would it have been okay to have arrived any other time and was told yes, they've just got them in to stagger people where possible.
Top tip...don't go and wait at the back of the queue when you arrive, speak to one of the staff and you'll be taken to the door pretty much immediately as the queue is for those that have turned up on the day for shopping/advice.

Had a Joli Originals case for my last MacBook Air which look exactly like the Woolnut ones, and thought exactly the same as you regarding the cost - they do wear in nicely though!
Gone for a Bellroy sleeve this time out, bought it when they had a 'Digital Nomad' bundle offer on which included Tech Kit 'washbag' too so means everything has it's place...

From @HatBeard's list, Decrypto is a terrific game and once you've had that first go everybody that's played it will have an 'oh!' moment and want to play it again! Great review of it here.
We've enjoyed Patchwork too.

We collect original animation cels.
Those are lovely. I remember spending ages looking at all of the cels in London's Warner Bros. store as a child and thinking 'one day' - must not start looking now...!
Have decided to try and complete a set of replica Norwich City home shirts since they were mass (lol) produced now, purely down to the fact I've probably got the majority from the mid-90s onwards and there's not that many to fill in the gaps - keeping it to home shirts will also prevent me getting to this level...

Always entertaining watching estate agents stretch the boundaries of what is viewed as a desirable location. A brave attempt at rebranding Wood Green as Crouch End.
Ha! I lived (rented a room) on the Crouch End side of that road for a year in 2008, lovely house but left after we got burgled and it just didn’t feel right any more.
Hornsey at an absolute push...can’t believe that price, mind!

AfterShokz do a set that holds audio, but they’re pricy at £139ish.
I’ve got a set of their Titanium ones and they’re okay...they’re alright but definitely feel a bit odd when you first use them and if you turn them up too much they definitely leak out.
Have also got a mono earpod which works relatively well and is a far cheaper solution, but does give you the bouncer/secret service look... :-)

That HawkEye non-goal for Sheffield United vs. Villa (ended 0-0) becomes very interesting now!
Would quite like Villa to stay up, not only does it mean we won’t be competing with them for a spot back in the top flight next year but it might also stop our fans that keep using ‘look at Villa’ as vindication for woefully underspending ourselves this/any season!

Have any clubs taken money for season tickets yet?
First season ticket deadline at Carrow Road was 21 February this year (usually that weekend), just half a year or so before the season traditionally starts...
I pay via monthly direct debit, but others pay up front obviously. We’re currently waiting for pro-rata refunds for this season, which are due by the end of this month.
Spotted the Sports Ground Safety Authority’s draft guidelines for getting crowds back in...no idea how that’ll work in practice, we’re 75%ish season ticket holders too.

What portable wireless mice do people use with their macs?
Logitech MX Anywhere, had it for years now and got it synced with work laptop too - wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone

Absolute garbage return to football for us...two shots on target across the two games against Southampton and Everton, and looking at the table is just depressing seeing that even one win would have got us within touching distance. So frustrating.
Expect Villa and Bournemouth to join us in the Championship next season, purely based on the fact that we are still to play West Ham and Watford so that's 3pts extra on the board for both of them...

Got a 2020 Macbook Air recently. Still well within the returns period. Time to look at the reviews and see if it's worth returning/exchanging.
Exactly the same situation here...MBA i5 1.1GHz/16MB/512GB arrived last Thursday, working out if it's worth an extra £290 to get the new MBP i5 2.0GHz/16MB/512GB for similar reasons @Dammit refers to!
Replacing a mid-2012 MBA, so either's going to be a marked improvement and both would (I'd hope) be something I end up with a similar lifespan for so thinking the cost will be spread over seven or eight years. Hmm, got a week and a bit to decide...

Yes...always worth going through the cancellation process and choose 'can't afford it' as the reason. There's a few hoops they put in front of you...'Are you sure? You will miss these things', then 'We can offer you £offer' if you say you are sure, then 'We can offer you £betterOffer' if you say you're sure again.
Best we got was four months of movies for free, but Entertainment was frequently four to six months at £3.99. It's not as hassle-free as the deals they throw up around Black Friday (a year of Movies/Entertainment for £99 etc), but it's not much effort really.

Ordered the Logitech K380 Bluetooth keyboard a week or so before I started WFH, having seen it was Wirecutter's choice.
Can be paired with three devices, it's similar in size to the older Apple Magic Keyboard and comes in at around forty quid. Would recommend if you did choose to go wireless.

The PaperWhites are awesome bits of kit at £120ish.
They’ve added light to the basic Kindle too, if your budget doesn’t stretch that far - they’re £70ish but have a worse resolution, don’t have as much storage and aren’t waterproof.
I’d recommend the PaperWhite to anyone, along with Calibre as a library manager...

Yep, mine’s only just reached the point where it’s starting to refuse ‘basic’ apps...it won’t run Prime Video but happy with Netflix and the normal telly app offers.
Really isn’t a bad run though, and certainly shows new ones are extremely unlikely to become obsolete within a year or two - looking at the new Air as a replacement, seems to be an ideal mix of price and performance.
We’ve got two mixers, one for the shower heads (free and fixed) and one for the bath so it’s definitely doable.
Wouldn’t be able to tell you how it works but here’s a snap as the plumber was halfway through...
