Pro Team bib shorts - does the stiching that holds the bib straps to the lower section have elasticity?

I just got mine back from being repair, they cut off the whole upper strap section and replaced with new. It appears normal thread has been used to reattach, so they are difficult to get on. Repair took 3 months so can't remember if this is normal?

I have also been looking at those Endura gloves. I tried latex gloves under fingerless gloves last winter but that combo made my hands so sweaty and became cold quick.

I emailed Endura and they confirmed the gloves are touchscreen compatible as well.
