It's about 18 lbs with pedals. I think yes, it was a little small for him and I couldnt understand why they didn't sell him a 61cm (this is 58). When I collected it there was another 2 inches of seatpost showing. I think there the stem needs another riser for me, and he musta been completely hunched over as he tried to ride it. The build was even louder when I picked it up with large Spinergy yellow stickers plastered across the rims. They were the first to go...

Wasn't sure where to post this, but Dan seems sorted and it seems to have evolved into a general road bike thread. Had my first ride yesterday on this ebay find, a 2011 Condor Baracchi. The bike had covered a total of 2 miles under the first owner. The colour is a candidate for the anti thread, but I like it anyway. Felt great and I immediately loved the Doubletap system, even though am used to Shimano. (Smallfurry can probably sympathise with the colour selection). Cost was little more than the frame alone, so I thought it was a result. Main concern is that I am not fast enough for this...

Struggled to post via phone. Finally sorted some proper pictures back at computer. The Police car is the RLJ swat car apparently. The last is a prototype we spotted leaving the factory and got chased away from photographing. Apparently this is the new supercar that previews tomorrow at the Geneva Auto Show.

For sale, 8GB iphone 3G, good condition commensurate with use (some light scratches but screen has had a cover as well as the body). Currently locked to O2 but could undo if critical. Holds charge well, never abused. Comes with original box and charge cable. I will include in the sale a deluxe hardshell case from Maison Takuya. These are handmade in Japan and not sold in the U.K. (OK not really NJS but if there were, this would be it). Hard to describe but a thin plastic shell covered in blue (Azure) French goatskin (RRP = 50 quid if I recall. This one bought in Tokyo). Minor wear has brushed away some of the blue in areas (see picture) but still good condition. There also is a nice linen bag to hold the phone, this is new since I never used it. See the line here: http://www.maisontakuya.com/
Prefer not to dibs, sold to the first who can collect. Greenwich weekends/nights, Moorgate/Old Street days. Post here or PM for additional details. 120 quid -

Did Cycle Training yesterday with Michael from Greenwich borough. We rode laps around the cycle unfriendly main roads of Woolwich and Charlton, filled with roundabouts, buses, funny turnings and irate drivers. Michael was enthusiastic and friendly. I was prepared for the worst, but pleased to hear that I was generally doing things right. He did caution that the assertive riding in Zone 1 that I am most familiar with will make enemies in Zones 3-4, where drivers are less used to dealing with cyclists. Highly recommended. I told 3-4 friends about it later in the day, and while none of them knew of Cycle Training, all were eager to have a go. Will see if they follow through.
It's nice to see dedicated people like Michael out there trying to make the streets as safe as they can.
We arrived on the island last night which meant a beautiful morning of riding today while everyone else was inside watching some wedding. Roads were quiet and not much wind. Did a quick 58k with a few ups and downs but no big hills, only 330 meters of climbing. Had gin & pink grapefruit sorbet at Minghella's in Cowes in the afternoon. Perfect. Can't wait for Sunday.
