Sandy, which chain tensioner ended up working best for you in the end? My next build will be with a vertical dropout frame.
UNLESS; Is there anything wrong with having a derailleur on the bike? Obvs I will only have one chainring, but if I could put a cassette on the back it will make the build, and my life on it as a commuter/polo hack, a lot easier.
After breaking 2 sprung tensioners by trying to get too much tension... I got a DMR fixed tensioner. Works great, although you have to remove it before taking a wheel off.It can push up or down.

Wut frame?
I need to sort out a beater for polo and was thinking of swapping a bmx for one off here but need to wait untill I can post in the classified threads. I'm not really in a rush though as doubt a polo bike would be good for the trek to PeckNam and back from Bow so would just use it for the east sesh's when I'm not so green. So a slow build might be do-able.
I do 20+ miles on my polo bike going from Stamford Hill to Peckham and back. It ain't difficult.
Oh and I'm running 40 gear inches

Had a few knocks, got quite a bad one on sunday, just having a relaxed knock about
I've broken my hand before(not through polo) if it happens again I'm screwed for being able to work and I don't get sick pay.
I just got them in the post and they are a lot less bulky than the other lacrosse gloves I've come across.

Can't seem to post a new thread in the classifieds but has anyone got a spare bit of pipe for a mallet head?
Can swap for a nordic carbon blinging fibre walking pole as I picked up two off freecycle on Friday. They're quite long and have hand straps which may or may not be a good idea.
Will be at the beginner sesh in peckham tmrw so if so, let me know and I'll bring one along.
Your post will appear soon but because you are relatively new to the forum it will have to be ok'd by a mod.
