Farrow and ball paint on a fresh plaster, large bedroom.
I've used budget stuff before but found that i'd always bend the frame or get a flat spot in the roller which meant the paint wouldn't go on evenly. In hindsight i'm probs bending the frame cos i'm pushing too hard to compensate for the flatspot.

Go to trousers/boots?
I'm struggling to find a pair of trousers that don't make me look like Steve Irwin (RIP) i.e. no extra pockets, fairly slim fitting. Anyone got anything they'd recommend?
Also looking for a new pair of shoes/boots, i've had some Saloman GTX Mid's which have been ok but wouldn't mind trying something by Terrex?

Transition Patrol
Rockshox Lyric
Easton Wheels
Shimano XT brakes
Sram GX
This thing needs new wheels (have hubs but need to order some light bicycles rims), and a new bar/stem. It's also missing a dropper but as I only used this for uplift days last year i've not prioritised getting one.
Boardman 29"
Fox Kashima 100mm travel
Shimano XT
Sram X9 groupset
Sram X0 Chainset
Hope/Stans wheelsThis one is the oldest of the lot, it's a fairly reliable workhorse but does need a new back wheel.

I've read and enjoyed a few of these threads so I thought I'd chuck my own collection up. Haven't been able to ride for a few months now due to an Inguinal hernia so if nothing else this will pass some time and organise my plans.
Kinesis Aithen Disc 56cm
Sram Force Groupset
Black inc integrated carbon bar/stem
Selcof Carbon post/Arione Carbon
Prime Blackedition 38mm Carbon Wheelset
The bars need taping and it needs a full strip down/rebuild before being used again but other than that I really like it and don't think i'll be changing anything this year.
Planet X RT58 56cm
Sram Rival
Nothing too drastic has been changed, cheap carbon post and an Uno stem.
Excuse the seat angle, it's tilted down to relieve pressure on my balls so I can do the odd zwift. It'll be put back to normal once i've got this hernia fixed.
Sad story - After a few trips out with me on other bikes my nephew got really into riding and this is what he bought as his first proper bike. A month after the got this he was diagnosed with cancer and passed away 2 years later. Doubt i'll get rid of this one, but there are a few things that need replacing. When i'm pushing on the turbo the chainset can foul the chainstay, this has only just started happening so i've not found the culprit yet but hopefully nothing too serious. Got my eye on a replacement carbon force chainset on ebay.
Kink Whip XL

I rode BMX exclusively for years, I only picked up other types of bikes after 2 broken ankles in the same year lead me to put the BMX away. So last year, 9 years after last riding BMX I bough this and I love it. Lots of plans for this - new cranks and rear wheel. I'd like a new frame but i'll priorotise other things first.

I think i've accepted that most running trainers look terrible, but picking a decent pair (particularly whilst shopping in person is difficult) is a minefield.
I've got pretty normal feet, 80% road 20% trail - trainer recommendations?
