Went for a run along the Regents canal, this afternoon. 7.5km in 29 minutes, barefoot. Should be able to do a sub-40-minute barefoot 10k, at that rate.
Was pleased to have no blisters at the end, despite parts of the towpath being entirely covered in water. Water + barefoot = blisters unless very careful with technique.

There's some research to show that there's a genuine benefit in "feeding" a cold, although it's more about getting the right food than simply eating more. More fruit is good and I don't think it's worth running a calorie deficit when you have a bad cold, since not only will it add to the misery but it may slow recovery. The orange juice won't help much, though; the idea that Vitamin C is good for colds is bunk: bunk. Eat a few oranges instead.

Yes.
I dunno, I've never been to live stand up but I've watched it on telly and it's all shit. It never makes me laugh. Ergo I haven't wanted to go see it live. I doubt it'd be any better live anyway.
You have no idea what you're talking about, then. In a cabaret venue, it's an entirely different experience.

Been up and about all day, fatigue's finally caught up with me. Turns out I had my hangover on lay away. Good gig guys, we need more.
Rest of the set is here. I'm off to catch some zzzz I have a party to attend...
OK, that clears up one hazy memory; it was Em I hoisted into the air. Hope you enjoyed the cross-surfing.
There were clearly more people on the dance floor than I remember. Tsk, late arrivals...

I also have to bail, regrettably. Sad to miss the last official champion pizza meld of the year, but have no option.
