Fuck, Surgeon for five quid? I spent more than that on a single chicken breast earlier.

Astonishing Drexciya mix - not strictly techno but certainly a masterpiece.

Yeah. So if I walked outside and cut someone's head off it wouldn't be terrorism?
Important to note that in her interview with The Guardian today the woman who spoke with both perpetrators at the scene is certain there were no signs of the victim being beheaded, or even efforts made to do so. I doubt she's mistaken so if this is a device used by the media to stir up bloodlust it should be followed up with a correction. That's guaranteed not to happen though, as by now the headline used by those papers who mention it has done its job for them.

Yahoo all of a sudden refuses to let me attach documents to emails. They're not huge or saved in obscure formats - routine stuff. The only warning is 'An error occurred while uploading', but there's no option for more information. I've tried several different files and ways of attaching - same result each time.
Anyone know possible reasons this is happening/how to get around it? I'm crippled until it behaves itself.

Almost time to endure Quigley's over reliance on 'ensconced' and 'extricate' to describe nothing much worth the bluster. Also I'm curious how many times Kelly can begin an answer to a question barely different to the one Quigley asked him not a minute before with 'Yes, well...' as a cover to the annoyance he can barely contain any longer. Commentary politics adds a whole different dimension to things.

The one thing that struck me was how good the sound was. Mika Vainio was mind-meltingly good as well and used every inch of those F1's, really physical stuff. A proper life affirming night of music.
The sound was excellent - loud, crisp and clear. No damage to my ears immediately afterwards or now, and I spent all night at the front.
I wasn't familiar with either support act. Of the two I preferred the second guy, wearing a hat. If he was Vainio, then agreed. Interesting landscapes compressing my mind. C&C killed him though.
Really fucking great night and I'm itching to hear C&C live again, but Milan in a few days is a bit of a stretch. If it was viable I'd be there in a second. If you happened to see a guy wearing one of superprecise's yellow Lucky 7 t-shirts, that was me.

The Fall, Clapham Grand - 17th May.
Chris & Cosey, Heaven - 19th May.
Saturday night's got 'stay in' written all over it.
The Fall - still my favourites, still the best. Nothing will ever change that, not even a support act so free of a motif of their own the last 20 years of recorded music was pillaged until the frontman of 'Big Unit' couldn't decide whether he was Ian Brown, Shaun Ryder, Bez or Joe Strummer. In his head he was all at once, and hopeful nobody in the crowd would recognise he didn't have one original idea to rub against the next. Never before have I seen a band get through a set on force of will alone, but when your song titles amount to 'Get Fucked' and 'MDMAmazing', you know pure front is the only thing going for a troupe so derivative I can barely remember the great Mark E Smith at all - except he looked like a 1000 year old ghoul at the back of a reincarnation queue having a better time than could be expected. Adoring looks to his keyboard playing wife, supportive gestures to his umpteenth guitarist and handing over of the microphone mid-song to a punter in the mosh-pit with a 'you think of some lyrics then' testament to that.
7.5/10.
Chris and Cosey - just back from what must be, apart from when Eamonn Holmes and his dearly beloved fumble through another episode of 'This Morning' on the brink of an on-air divorce, easily the best thing I've ever witnessed. It wasn't house or techno - more an insistent music that didn't grow old the more it remained similar across the whole, much too short set. For just over an hour they made nothing else matter. I saw Mark Moore just as we left and my mate assures me Marc Almond was bobbing around, but none of that impacts on one of the finest nights I've had anywhere.
125.6/10.

I will not post but I do think I may have been a little unhelpful about sizing etc and underselling. Please see photo below and you will see how large this cup is. Once again, not ideal for cold drinks but perfect for hot.
I want this gone please.

If I stare deeply and long enough into Exhibit A on the left, that being the item up for grabs, not much happens. Yes I can admire the lack of residue staining its bottom/sides, making it an ideal prop for use in a soap where daft stooges pretend to take a long gulp from a drink before their partner admits to being pregnant by the lawnmower, a revelation that causes no spluttering of non-existent liquid from the mouth of our aforementioned character actor/nation's sweetheart. This mug's future is assured - prime-time fleshy lips will probe its depths before an audience of millions, including many from here who need to accept this receptacle's out of their league.
If I do the same to Exhibit B, centre, I see the face of Jesus staring back at me. Hallelujah for Nescafe.
