I went with cable discs cos I already had the levers and cable housing and I couldn’t justify spending the extra on hydros at the moment.

Probably coulda get a set of MT500s for the same price you paid for the spyres tbh.

trp spyres and avid levers do not feel great.

I wouldn't use anything else at this point. I had a lot of issues with WTB tyres that came with lots of pin holes in them from new but the race stuff seals it up easy.

I've used it in my bikes for a couple years with no issues too.

The orange seal stuff is also really good but dries up quite quickly and a faff to remove

You need quite a specific(expensive) tool and it's probably worth just paying your local brompton dealer to do it. Get it done sooner rather than later though, seized pivots left too long are a nightmare to get out

What is the benefit of a 30mm crank? I would ideally look to run a CAAD12 (if I can find it) or 13 with the standard ultegra chainset (hopefully R8050)

Put some glitter in the stans. Helps them seal. I find gold and blue colours the best.

Don't do this, pissing glitter all over trials is very terrible thing to do environmentally. Stans Race sealant is a huge jump up from the standard stuff, seals a lot better
