It is 9 years this week since Sam 8 came to live here.
We've had a few traumatic times, (stepping in a tin of blue paint, getting covered in oil, losing two toes to cancer), but we'll be celebrating later.

We had moments of brilliance but our keeper had a nightmare at times and we cannot defend from set pieces.

Mouse season is here. Sam brings them in, I catch them before he kills them, and then release mousie back outside away from cat paws.

As you could almost predict, I'm having a bit of a shooshfail today. And the scientific experiments in the kitchen make me realise that perhaps a ride as a reward for housework might be better than shutting the door and coming back to it.

I'm wearing my Howies chinos. They are a bit worse the wear for these days but I still love them.

I bought this one earlier in the year. It has changed our lives. Only once has his friend managed to tailgate him in. It keeps him out and stands the force of him pounding on the cat flap from time to time (he used to regularly force his way through the magnetic cat flap). Easy to fit and work.

Previously it used to say 'Reply to thread ... and the title of the thread'
