Unsure, the cyclingnews article suggests that sponsorship requirements might have obligated Froome to wear yellow, but the commissioners and directors have agreed he doesn't have to.

Absolutely gutted for the Panzerwagen - the shots of him being helped over the line by his team mates were a kick in the nuts.

Does anybody know if the fan park by Canary Wharf will be returning this year? I quite enjoyed watching the final stage there last year.

Despite leaving home later than usual the roads were pretty quiet.

Found myself pootling along CS7 behind a couple of single speeders when the gentleman's seat post disintegrates and his saddle clatters to the floor. Luckily he wasn't going particularly fast so didn't accidentally sit on anything he shouldn't.

My experience last year was that OTP models can be had pretty much same day from the likes of Evans, whilst there was at least a six week wait for a custom model from someone like Apex Cycles in Clapham.

I have paid a small fortune to resellers to see Blink-182 tonight.

It was pretty deserted. Tellingly, at least half the vendors had given up and had packed up when we arrived at four o'clock, the fosters tent was empty, but they made up for this by pumping out horrendous music that drowned out the commentary for those not sat within 100m of the screen.

There were a lot of families and groups who seemed entirely disinterested in the cycling, which made me think that predominantly locals had turned up to try and sunbathe.

It was a lovely way to watch the stage, I hope it is back next year.

Watched the final stage down at the fan park in Canary Wharf yesterday. Enjoyed the polite applause for Kittlel and for Nibbles.
