Finished building my bike, so have my runaround up for sale: £70
Peugeot, 58cm frame, gear ratio 52/18, wheels - 700, tyre width 28, shimano brake levers, KMC chain (blue: I know, I'll wait for the abuse :D ). Paint is pretty scratched as you can see in the pic, from leaning/locking up.
So a scruffy but nice to ride pub bike really. If I've missed anything just ask

Rusty old Harrier Capri frame, light blue, step through, lighter than it looks though.
Frame and forks, with headset, horizontal dropouts.Other stuff - a couple of drop handlebars with stems, and one set without stem.
Kobe black saddle, leather ripped at front so I painted it up with ice skate toe guard paint, so it is waterproof.
Having a big clear out so if nobody is interested in the next few hours they're going to the tip. (If someone wants any bits they don't have to pick them up today though).

Hey Wicksie, sorry I never made it again after saying I would - just too hard to get Tuesdays free all the time (I work evenings), but I might make it along occasionally. Looks like you are doing well for numbers anyway though!
FREE STUFF: In the meantime Elguapo, that frame is still available (the harrier one) if you want it and can pick it up in Camberwell anytime. Also have two 1" stems (that are missing quills) and a crappy chain ring and cranks, if anyone wants these for polo bikes, -

Hey Wicksie, I have a few stems lying around - one of them might be 1" - if so I'll bring it on Tuesday.
Rik, I'd love to take the Peugeot frame - had an old Harrier step through frame earmarked for polo but I think it's too big for me. If the Peugeot Is smaller, then the Harrier is free to anyone that wants it...

alot of people use singlespeed now, so you can adjust your legs accordingly to the shot
as long as you have brakes then thats fine, and a spinny gearnot that i know ought
Cheers, my bike is 52/17 but I have a frame i rescued from a bin, this could be the perfect use for it - might manage to get it built up before Tuesday. I'll pm you my number Wicksie, ta.

I've never started a thread - but I couldn't find one that this question would fit into, so here goes...
I was thinking about giving polo a try, looks like fun, and I see there's one in South London.
I can't tell from the usernames in the polo sub-forum, is it all guys or do any girls here play? Anyone ever been, or harbouring a secret desire to go?

Hey there folks, thought I'd say hello too
I came on this forum recently for the first time, looking for a frame for my first ss build, and then got hooked on bike anti-porn. I've just been lurking really, and but the new ladies forum has made me brave enough to post :) Great advice on the forum, and cool to see some female bike mechanics too!
I have several bikes in various stages of assembly - seems I may be addicted to converting crappy old Peugeots but hopefully I'll get over it.
I've only been cycling a couple of years, and just in London, but I'd love to do one of the rides - the Brighton one sounded like a laugh.
Might ride over to south drinks next week too...
Cheers, Sarah

I will take that gladly :)
Is the paint ok? take it either way but just wondering. I can pick up tomorrow morning if that suits you?
Cheers
