I'm happy to say that the program for getting cycle training available and advertised to students at Central St Martins is going well. An exchange of places event where cyclists are invited into the cab of a lorry is planned, along with talks from David (SkyDancer) from CTUK and Camden Council providing a student-specific training program.
Thanks to everyone on the forum who's helping out.

I've got this in E8. The end of the handle reaches the tyre on a 700c wheel.

Weird story...
Caught a junkie stealing QR wheels of a bike locked up by the London Fields primary school. My brother told him to fuck off, which he did. We took the wheels off for safe keeping, returning to the bike to put a note on it, only to find it was fucking gone!
We basically accidentally stole someone's wheels. As my girlfriend pointed out, they would have gone anyway but at least this way he might get them back... for free.
So if anyone knows anyone who's wheels have been nicked, they've not, PM me and I'll explain all. We left a note where the bike was, so hopefully who ever's it was will get them back.

'allo. My brother snapped the seat stay off his seat cluster climbing the Ditchling Beacon last week and now I need to weld it back on.
The workshop I normally go to doesn't have a TIG machine just now so I'm wondering if anyone on here has one that I could come and use. I don't have any certs but I've been welding for 4 years so I'm not going to do anything silly.
Payment in beers or cash or both or good vibes. Ideally it'd be somewhere east / north but beggars can't be choosers. Whaddayagot?

Edit: I'll bring some discs to grind down those angels... how embarrassing.

Did London to Brighton for the first time on Saturday with a bunch of guys from Hospital Records (donations here if you want).
Mixed bag of abilities and bikes but we did it in about 5 hours, and I got up the Ditchling Beacon fixed on 70" without stopping. Well chuffed. Here's my brother single speeding it over the crest of the Beacon. Bit late in posting this, but I didn't have my laptop in 1927.
