Trying to fit an XTR caliper to my inbred project. It's an IS mount, with a Superstar single speed hub

The disc seems to be too far inboard on the frame for the caliper to fit. On my regular geared MTB, the disc is 15mm inboard from the inside edge of the IS caliper mount on the frame. On this inbred, it's 20mm, and the caliper won't align with the disc.

a) what's going on? Is the hub to a different standard?
b) can I just get longer bolts and 5mm spacers, or is that asking for sheared bolts / dental bills?

I watched the Reading one a couple of times when overseas, just paying a one-off charge. The quality of the picture was fine but there was only one camera, no replays and no commentary (just crowd noise) (maybe a benefit). It was fine but a limited product, they may have improved it now

Not only is it very skettchy for peds stepping out behind traffic now they've made it 2-way, this massive idiot is filtering no-handed up the inside and outside. Then another cyclist pulls out, slightly in front of him sure but not too bad, and this oaf starts shouting at him. Other cyclist just ignored it, at the next light no-hands starts mouthing off again and I told him he was the "only dangerous fucker on this road" he says "I do what I want you fat fuck" and rides off no handed flipping the double bird. At that point I let him ride off to his destiny :/
